Britney Spears Former Manager Sam Lutfi Appeals against Restraining Order

Britney Spears' former manager, Sam Lutfi, has filed an appeal after being ordered to stay away from the singer for three years.

Sam Lutfi, 34, notified an L.A. court Wednesday that Sam Lutfi intended to fight the ruling that Spears' restraining order against him was to be made permanent, Usmagazine.com confirmed.

On Tuesday, L.A. Superior Court Judge Aviva Bobb ordered Lutfi to stay away from the pop star and to not contact her for the next three years. The judge issued her ruling after hearing testimony and arguments from the men and lawyers for Spears' father, Jamie.

According to TMZ, Lutfi's lawyer, Byran Freedman, said that "the evidence showed it was Britney Spears reaching out to Mr. Lutfi and all he did was help her get a lawyer."
