Danica McKellar(34) and Mike Verta(36) exchanged vows in an ocean-side church at sunset in La Jolla, Calif., in front of 150 guests, including the bride's sister and maid of honor, Crystal McKellar, who played Becky Slater on The Wonder Years. They starts dating from 2001.
The bride wore a mermaid-style wedding gown and a tiara by Renee Strauss while the groom wore a tuxedo with tails and white gloves.
"We wanted an intimate, formal event," says Danica McKellar, who walked down the aisle to wedding music composed by Verta and performed by members of the San Diego Symphony.
Danica McKellar graduated from UCLA with a BS in mathematics in 1998.Danica McKellar is the author of two books: Math Doesn't Suck and Kiss My Math. She has also appeared on many other television shows including The West Wing.
Mike Verta is an accomplished music composer for film and television. He also came up with the titles and designed the covers for both of McKellar's bestselling books.
