Sunday Kinda Love

It's snowing like crazy outside, I have cabin fever & I have a pulled groin (which is getting better) thus making me anti-anything involving working out, so I decided to do a fun post of products I love! These are everyday things I am obsessed with and I would love to share them with you!

1. Burt's Bees Garden Tomato Toner

I LOVE Burt's Bees products and have been using this toner since high-school (yes that's 2002). I never have worn cover-up/powder because I hate the feeling, so to balance and cleanse my skin I apply this in the morning and night. Besides evening out your skin tone, it radiates my skin and wakes me up too! It's all natural ingredients too, because I hate the feeling of putting chemicals on my face. I swear by this and my skin has always remained cooperative I think because of it!

2. DIORSHOW Mascara I have also used this mascara since like 2004 and would never use anything different. I have the kind of eyelashes that get clumpy if I use a crappy kind and for the extra 15 bucks this outdoes any drugstore brand. My eyelashes love it, I love it and it lasts for-ev-er (I had my last bottle for a year, shhhh) I converted my friend Laina and my sister uses it as well Erin & Laina approve!

3. My THINK GREEN Sigg bottle
I converted from my Nalgene to a Sigg after the BPA scare, even though I didn't exactly understand it, and the eco-friendly Fort Collins, Colorado started marketing Siggs like crazy. I also moved to the mountains and needed something to keep my water cool. This bottle is amazing because I leave water in it sometimes accidentally in my car overnight and wake up for the gym and the water is ice cold and amazing because the metal keeps its temp. just right. It's lightweight, cute, and durable and eco-friendly over plastic water bottles!!!!

4. Hard Candy Sweet Cheeks Liquid Blush This blush is AMAZING! As stated before I hate powdery things and this blush does the trick with 2 small little dabs on the apples of your cheeks. It looks like a nail polish on the outside and you use the little brush to paint the blush on. I've had this for over a year (shhh) and still have so much left. It also gives the natural flush look as opposed to the 80's blush line. I loooove it.

5. Desert Essence Lip Rescue with Tea Tree Oil
I recently bought this lip gloss and really love it! I hate sweet lip glosses (except that dr. pepper flavored one) and this one has more of an earthy/herby taste to it which I love. It's completely all-natural ingredients and has tea tree oil and vitamin E. It doesn't wear off and make your lips dryer either.

6. Buddha's Little Instruction Book by Jack Kornfield My Dad bought me this book a couple Christmas's ago and I love love love it. I am a big quotes person and this book is a collection of inspiring and meaningful quotes that really make you think. Before I go to bed I have this ritual of randomly turning to a page in the book, reading the quote and applying it to my life or the day I just had. Or I use the quote to come back to during the day when I am getting overwhelmed. When I have felt lost or confused, this book has given me small insights to help clear my head and to look at the big picture. It's a perfect book to keep by your bed and that's where mine is.

That's the list. Pretty short and definitely sweet. There are many more things I cannot live without, such as tonight's episode of Big Love.

Speaking of love, my best friend Bridget sent me an update from Kuwait recently and it was soooo good to hear from her after 3 months. She gets done at the end of April and I miss her terribly! Her husband is in Iraq and done this week (yess!) and they have spent the beginning of their married life together so far separated in the Middle East. Talk about strong love! Thankfully they will be reunited in May!!!! Me and Bridget at her bachelorette party

Goodnight & LET IT SNOW so I can go sledding tomorrow!

All you need is love,
Erin
