Theoretical Concept:
To set means to manipulate objects. It means to move them around in an ordered or unordered fashion or to change them to a particular style or location. It can also mean to allow or force an object to behave in a certain way; to differentiate one object to another. To set means to form patterns, evoke thought and create an experience.
A set means to have or acquire meaningful objects. These collections can be of any sort; a series of similar objects; they may behave, look or feel the same, but not necessarily related. A set can even be the sum of the parts that creates the whole.
The common denominator in both these aspects of the “set” is time. It takes time to change one thing to another. It takes time to experience a change. It takes time to gather and arrange objects to suit.
