Katrina Kaif Joined the Lakme Fashion Week

Katrina Kaif rocked at the launch show of Fall/Winter 2009 Lakme Fashion Week on March 27, styled as a Barbie doll in a dress by designer Nishka Lulla.It was the winning dress of a Dress the Barbie contest to mark the 50th anniversary of the iconic doll that has gladdened young hearts across the globe.

The contest attracted 75 entries from top designers in the country of which 20 were shortlisted and showcased on the ramp at the dazzling show. Katrina Kaif got to wear the winning entry after Katrina Kaif was hand picked by Barbie Doll makers, Matter Toys (India), to become the first Indian celebrity to have a Barbie doll modeled on her.

Katrina Kaif joins a small group of world renowned divas, like Beyoncé Knowles, Elizabeth Taylor, and Diana Ross, who have had "celebrity Barbies" modeled on them.

It's surprising taht kareena is new buddy of Katrina and katrina is taking fitness tips from her. The war of words in both of them is a past thing now. They both met at wedding of Amrita Arora and they talked all about them from there films to fitness ideas etc.
Seems like they want to know each others secrets LOL. Even Katrina admits that she is taking advice from kareen about body shape as we all know last year kareena was in news because of her perfect body shape. Katrina said kareena is sweetheart, we both had a very good time at Amrita Arora’s wedding.

Katrina and Akshay's Latest Movie ‘De Dhana Dhan’

Katrina was more seriously injured. Katrina is doing a movie named ‘De Dhana Dhan’ with
Akshay Kumar playing the male lead. For this film, Katrina had to perform an underwater stunt along with Akshay Kumar and during this stunt, Katrina’s leg got strangled in a rope underwater.

Katrina tried to release herself from the knot by pulling Katrina's leg hard which caused serious injury and bleeding. Unfortunately, though Katrina shouted for help, no one could hear Katrina's in the noises on the set. Finally, Akshay found Katrina, and released her from the knot.
