Katrina Kaif In Seeta Aur Geeta

His film will explore the dark underbelly of human nature and Katrina will have to do some serious self-exploration to play the roles of the twins.
Dibakar does not want Kaif to get influenced by Hema Malini's performance in the original. He has given her a list of films and books on pain and catharsis to prepare for the roles. Some of the films include Bimal Roy's Devdas and Guru Dutt's Pyasa and Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam. According to Dibakar, Shabana Azmi's portrayal of an unmarried girl living with her ailing mother in a state of ruin in Mrinal Sen's Khandhar will be a reference point for Katrina's role.
Clearly, Katrina won't have to jump onto the ceiling fan and bash up goons, as Malini did in the original comic caper. Banerjee says, "I love Seeta Aur Geeta. It is great fun to watch the film. But I don't view Seeta as good and Geeta as evil. One is weak, and the other aggressive. The evil forces come from outside.

Katrina Kaif Joined the Lakme Fashion Week

Katrina Kaif rocked at the launch show of Fall/Winter 2009 Lakme Fashion Week on March 27, styled as a Barbie doll in a dress by designer Nishka Lulla.It was the winning dress of a Dress the Barbie contest to mark the 50th anniversary of the iconic doll that has gladdened young hearts across the globe.

The contest attracted 75 entries from top designers in the country of which 20 were shortlisted and showcased on the ramp at the dazzling show. Katrina Kaif got to wear the winning entry after Katrina Kaif was hand picked by Barbie Doll makers, Matter Toys (India), to become the first Indian celebrity to have a Barbie doll modeled on her.

Katrina Kaif joins a small group of world renowned divas, like Beyoncé Knowles, Elizabeth Taylor, and Diana Ross, who have had "celebrity Barbies" modeled on them.
