I am thankful for the fact that I cannot find coconut or cherry M&M's anywhere. I know that seems not very thankful or deep. I found these in my hometown when I was last there at the convenience store/gas station. I tried them and I liked them.
I cannot find them anywhere here.
I didn't find them on my roadtrip to Kearney.
I didn't find them in Scottsbluff.
Someone up there is watching out for me!

I am thankful for my friends especially this week. I know I have posted being thankful for them before, but you can never appreciate friends too much. I have some good friends around me. They envelope me with love, caring and concern, make me laugh, cry with me and just let me be me.
I'm a lucky girl.
So after I quit doing my thankful post each day, I have hardly blogged at all. I don't know why. Time is going by quickly. I am filled with love for my family and friends.
I am thinking we should post a favorite Christmas memory.....post one in the comments!
I have so many, many memories that I love:

I just want to wish you all a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving. I hope you will get to share your day with loved ones and friends. I am so happy to be doing just that.
I am thankful for snow. Sometimes when you watch the flakes fall, they are just beautiful and magical.
Do you remember sledding? Did you sled as a child? We did! It is something I do with Chloe and Brooklyn when we can, too!
How about snowmen? I hope you build snowmen still, too! (And don't forget to lay down in the snow and make snow angels!!)
I am thankful for music. I am glad that music has always been a part of my life. As a small child, I remember my mom playing her albums. I grew up with music around me. My mom also played the piano. My dad would laugh and say he "played the radio"!! I love music, the feelings it can stir. Music can cause you to dance, sing, laugh, cry, remember....
I have a son with a beautiful voice, daughters who dance to the music with such grace...family that sings, and enjoys music. I like to sing along in church. I love our family gathering around the piano singing Christmas carols while my mom accompanies us.
Thank you God, for music!
Monday came around again.
Already.
So soon!
:-)
I am thankful for my new boss. He is innovative, cheerful, inspiring, encouraging, positive, and a great guy....Thanks, boss!
It was my day!
I got another surprise...see this water bottle...it says "Thanks for All You Do!" I love it! It's the little things in life that truly make your day, isn't it?
I am thankful for surprises! Today, I got one, in fact! I received a gift from my friend, K, for helping with some trainings at work. It smells so good, and is so silky... I love this! Tuscan Honey Silky Body Cream! So, instead of a thankful photo today, you get a photo of my surprise!!!
And...isn't this true?--------If the only prayer you said in your whole life was, "thank you," that would suffice. ~Meister Eckhart
I am thankful for Sissy and Sammy. They are so much company, and love me unconditionally.
They enrich my life!
I am thankful for our little exercise group. Our instructor is awesome, and I enjoy the sessions so much...it always ends my day on a good note.
Not only is the exercise cleansing, so is the company.
It's Monday...
..........again...
......................already!?...
Good morning!
I am thankful for the smell of rain. I love the smell of rain. We don't get to smell it too often, but when we do, it is wonderful!!
I bet you like the smell of rain, too...
I am thankful this weekend for weekends, in themselves! I mean, really, aren't you?
And since I didn't post yesterday, I will give two thankfuls! I am also thankful for friends, old and new. What would we do without our friends? Do you have a friend or 2 that accepts you just the way you are? A friend or 2 that you can tell anything to? A friend or 2 that does't criticize, judge or envy you or you her? I do. And I cherish that. I have friends in my life that I just relish. I am lucky. I love you, my friends. I hope I can be the kind of friend to others in those same ways. I saw an old friend today at church, and it was like we saw each other yesterday, instead of a long while. During the sign of peace, she gave me a hug and held me tight. It was wonderful. I hope you have friends like that...old and new.
Hard to believe the weekend is already winding down! I went out pheasant hunting with my hubby and a couple friends yesterday. They have asked me to go along a couple times, but this is the first time I went along. I just walked the lines, hoping to flush out pheasants. They were right...it was a LOT of exercise, I didn't have to go to the Y! It was especially a lot of exercise walking in the mud and snow with my boots on! It was just nice to be out moving around in the fresh air! I figure it won't hurt me to expand my horizons once in a while, huh? I grew up around hunting, and in fact, used to go out hunting with my dad--sometimes even our family went out. I'm just too soft hearted to really be a hunter! But I had a good time, and suprised my daughter, Tina, and my one sister, who is an avid hunter, by going out with the guys! Have a great rest of the weekend....
I am forever thankful for my family. There is nothing more important than family. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings, nieces, nephews, inlaws, and all extended family...I love you all. I read once that being in contact and around extended family helps a person be happy.
I totally agree.
I am thankful for my daughter Crystal. She is challenging, because she has many challenges; she is loyal and loving. I have been "inside her wall" and have seen her vulnerability and her broken heart. I have seen her wonderful, loving heart. I love you, Crystal.
Anyone following the CSI trilogy this week? It is pretty good. I am a CSI fan, though. Oooh, and I also watch Criminal Minds. It was something last night! I sound like a TV freak, huh? Exercise class was good last night and I wish it wasn't just three nights a week. I didn't have anyone with blinker issues around me on the way to work today. I wish I had won Ree's cookbook in the contest at Another Chance Ranch! Random thoughts for the day....
I am thankful for my daughter, Tina. She is beautiful inside and out. She is fun and independent. She forked out on her own before I was ready. She has grown into a wonderful young woman. She is loving and kind. She is adventuresome, which is a characteristic I envy.
I love you, Tina!
Question of the day: Which is more irritating to you...someone who NEVER uses the blinker on their car, or someone who NEVER turns it off? Quite a conundrum, huh?
Also ... Happy Veterans Day, with reverance and respect to all our veterans and our armed forces serving now...and THANK YOU!
I want to share today about my son. I am thankful for my son. He is so generous in spirit. He has so many talents, is a hard worker, a good dad and is such a loving person. He has been through some tough times, but I know he will continue to shine. He needs to allow himself to do that. In thinking of him, it fills my heart..I miss him and I love him! It looks to be another great day as for weather! I had an early morning meeting and so started my day off a bit earlier than normal. I had hoped to get up earlier and exercise, but, whoops, slept clear till the alarm. I have to get back into the habit of morning exercise. It is getting dark so early, it is hard to walk at nights. At least I still have my little exercise class three days a week.
I have not had any great blogging revelations lately. Biggest Loser on tonight. I am fearing who will get sent home this week!
Today I am thankful for my oldest daughter Chrissy. She is so loving and caring, sensitive and just a beautiful person, inside and out. She is a wonderful daughter, sister, and mom. And although I did not give birth to her, she is like me in many ways! I love you, Chrissy! I thank God for bringing you to us, and making you our daughter!!!
There is so much in life to be thankful for. I am, however, having trouble being thankful for Monday mornings! I will work on this one. I know Monday is a good day. I just know it!
Sunday, however, I did appreciate!
Have a wonderful week, one and all!
Today I am thankful for the wonderful fall weather.
It was a beautiful day yesterday, and I enjoyed it so! It may seem like a small thing, but really, a beautiful sunny day cannot be wasted! I took the dogs out for a walk after I did go out and clean up the yard, leaves and all that stuff. It was just so nice out that the work didn't even seem bad at all!
I walked to church this morning and fixed brunch for my hubby and two hunting buddies. Now, after posting, must finish the laundry before the dogs and I go outside for another walk. Supper, which will be baked potato soup is all done, and will only need the finishing touch. It is cooler today, but aw, it is so nice for November!! Enjoy your day!!

This thankful stuff doesn't take much thinking so far, as I find I have so much to be thankful for!! Today without question, I am thankful for my mother in law. Last night, she was taken to the ER and had to be admitted to the hospital. It sounds now as if it were a "small" heart attack, but they are not sure yet. How scary! We'll hear more later today. My mother in law is wonderful, and loves me and treats me like one of her own. I am lucky. I hope we hear good news later from the doctors. I love her dearly!!
It looks to be a beautiful day. I have my cleaning done, and no real big plans. I could go out and clean up some leaves...but we'll see! I do think it would be a good day for a walk to the dog park! I'll have to discuss this with Sammy.
Have a wonderful day! Remember to tell your loved ones how much they mean to you!
