This is an old version of a Jim Lee reboot of the Superman costume.
However, DC Comics has officially stated that DC Comics is rebooting all their heroes. In September of this year, there are going to be 52 new #1 issues of the heroes, starting with Justice League by Geoff Johns.
They're also going to start offering digital versions of the comics for various e-readers. Gonna be interesting to see what happens to comics shops and the industry.
Personally, I don't think comics as print media or comic book stories will ever go away. But the times, they are a-changing.
