A Family Tradition

We always buy a gift for a child every year at our house. When our youngest child came to live with us, she had been a recipient of these gifts from the community at Christmas before, and, in fact, that was many times her only gift, so it is especially meaningful to her. This year our tag is for a 6 year old girl! We will have fun doing that one!

Speaking of gifts, I got a special gift from a high school girl here, T, who is a waitress at one of our fav restaurants. She gave me one of these bracelets with saints on it, from Mexico! I love it and will treasure it. She wouldn't let me buy one from her, so I gave her a rosary ring. I hope she'll love it as much as I love my bracelet! What a special gift to me!
