Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, tried her hand at modelling while studying at Edinburgh University, according to the Edinburgh Evening News. Pippa Middleton took part in university fashion shows similar to those where Kate first attracted the eye of Prince William.
Pippa took part in the school's charity fashion show at the City nightclub in 2004, at the age of 20. She was among a number of students to model clothes by Vivienne Westwood and Jean-paul Gaultier. The show was hosted by the Channel Four newsreader Jon Snow and the comedian Miles Jupp. One university pal was quoted as saying, "As soon as Pippa arrived at Edinburgh, she was assiduous about joining the right social circle. She was very charming about it, but quite ruthless in cultivating the right friends". Pippa's sister Kate attracted national attention in 2002 after wearing a see-through dress to a university fashion show. The black and turquoise creation, made by fashion graduate Charlotte Todd, sold for 78,000 pounds at an auction in central London in March 2011.

Pippa Middleton, who is currently dating the city banker Alex Loudon, was spotted meeting up with Prince Harry at The Troubador pub in London's Chelsea last month. Pippa and Harry have remained good friends since the Royal Wedding in 29th April 2011.

Lady Gaga fans crashed retail website Amazon.com after the singer's new album Born This Way went on sale for just 60p.
Amazon bosses decided to cash in on Gaga's huge following by offering the album download for just $0.99 when it was released on Monday.
The bargain price prompted fans to flock to the site, and many users lost connection as downloads slowed and the service struggled to meet demand.
A message posted on the Amazon website read: "Amazon is experiencing high volume and downloads are delayed. If customers order today, they will get the full Lady Gaga, Born This Way album for $0.99. Thanks for your patience."

 Lindsay Lohan has obtained a restraining order against the man she dubbed a stalker when she exposed him online. 

The actress posted a surveillance video grab of the man she claims has been threatening to kill her on her website earlier this week.

Lohan, who is facing a summer jail stint, admitted she's "scared" in a tweet to fans

 which linked them to the photo of a bearded man online, now identified as David Cocordan.

The “Mean Girls” star wrote, "This is the freemason stalker that has been threatening to kill me - while he is TRESPASSING! im actually scared now.

"The blood in the 'cults' book was too much - all my fans, my supporters, please stand by me."
